Increasing attention is being paid to the presence of residues of pharmacologically active molecules in milk and meat, even below maximum residue levels (MRL). The search for alternatives to antibiotics and other drugs is extremely complicated, since one risks failing to cure the animal and making infections chronic. The principle of Quorum Sensing is both interesting and plausible. In this workshop, AHV will report the data and results from its practical experience in Italian livestock farms.
