The world livestock sector adheres to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that the United Nations in the 2030 Agenda has priority indicators for the coming years. On the one hand, it is a question of obtaining the growing demand for animal products to feed the growing world population and, on the other, working for a development that does not compromise the ability of future generations to be able to obtain their own needs.
Animal husbandry, aided by research, digitalization and constant training, can play a strategic role in achieving the objectives, passing from quality production models. In this context, the Italian model is internationally recognized both for the continuous adaptation of practices for its technological capacity and for an excellence that comes from a strong integration of the supply chain with the territory and its history.
