CremonaFiere, the leading showcase for the future of animal husbandry, is ready to take its place as the global capital of the industry, with a schedule of the very best events and exhibits.
The Zootecniche Cremona International Exhibition, as always, is the heart of the global livestock industry, offering an extraordinary overview to its visitors: from events to exhibits, the system is designed to bring together the very best the industry has to offer and provide an effective guide to future developments.
Calendar Of Events
The 79th Zootecniche Cremona International Exhibition, to be held at CremonaFiere from 28 to 30 November 2024, features a programme of events of exceptional quality.
Even more than in previous years, the events scheduled for 2024 will cover all the most topical and hotly debated issues in depth, featuring specialised speakers from around the world and acting as the think tank of the exhibition.
The issues of livestock management and animal welfare will be discussed in seminars which highlight the potential of new technologies and the most up-to-date scientific understanding of dairy herd management, as well as processing into high quality finished products. In this area, CremonaFiere has leveraged its collaborations with its long-established partners (Sivar, Crea and the Catholic University, among others) as well as new ones, like the University of Padova.
Economic considerations obviously play a major role in farming, especially at this time, when the changing climate has strongly impacted the last season’s results of a number of agri-food sectors: these will be illustrated and discussed in depth by our established partners, as well as by other actors like Clal.it, which will consider the most complex consequences in a seminar dedicated to the dairy market featuring international speakers.
Other events will leverage our collaborations with professional associations (agronomists, agricultural experts and technicians) in a partnership which this year, as before, will feature a conference dedicated to financial brokerage ‒ one of the most critical issues for the agricultural industry as a whole.
As regards education, the programme continues our fruitful collaboration with AITA, the Italian Association of Food Technology, with three seminars and training events (one of which is divided into four specialised discussions), including a focus on communication.
The topics of renewable energy and circularity will also be discussed in two events programmed by CIB, the Italian biogas consortium, which will review current developments and prospects in alternative energy in Italy and abroad.
As always, the exhibition also offers space for young people, with the On the way to Cremona competition, a major programme for agricultural schools, with classes participating in dedicated online training courses followed by a project which puts their new skills to the test in a concrete case study, thus creating a virtuous educational cycle which looks beyond the competition itself by requiring them to develop their awareness of the issues surrounding the industry.
Alongside these events, the three days of the exhibition will also feature a wide range of seminars organised by the exhibitors themselves, which this year will be particularly numerous and interesting, thus making the exhibition a fully-fledged compendium of know-how.
The exhibition
The 2024 exhibition will present a fascinating range of exhibits, featuring the very latest technologies and the most prestigious European and global brands.
To sum up, the exhibition aims to offer a window onto the future, offering the possibility of gaining an overview of the latest developments in the international livestock industry in a single visit. This year more than ever, we can say that all roads lead to Cremona, and even a visit of just a few hours will give the visitor a clear view of where the industry is going.
